LAM - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Definitions:
“LAM” it’s an application/Web service that works on smartphones / Browsers and it’s offer a voice messages service to be received from sender to receiver and it’s belonged to a Kuwaiti Company called “Forklab ISS Ltd” under commercial license certificates number م 2019/2665/ and its located in Kuwait.
User/s,You, receiver, sender: Anyone using LAM services or accessing LAM services.
("LAM", "we", "us", "our"): LAM Team
Obligations of users:
2.1. You must use the Site and the Application according to the terms and conditions from the official website of LAM.
2.2. Not to use the service of LAM or other accounts or systems or networks connected to LAM illegally through hacking or Using any other methods in the application or the website. We will take all necessary measures against those who break the rules.
2.3. The user takes full responsibilities of all the provided information.
The Cost:
3.1. The application is free to download and there are no mandatory fees.
3.2. Some of features included in paid plans (optional)
Terms Altered:
4.1. Fork Lab Company has the right to add new rules or modify the items at any time without announcing it to users, the modification items are automatically applied after posting them on the website, use of the website/application after the modifications is automatically considered an approval from the user on the modifications. Please refer to the ‘last modified’ date to see when the Privacy Policy was last updated.
4.2. Fork Lab Company has the right to Disable the website or application or part of either of them temporarily or permanently without notifying users, there are no rights for any user or third party if the website, application or service provided by the site is disabled.
Privacy policy:
5.1. LAM is using “Third Party Services” as part of the quality service we provide. But our privacy policy does not apply to the practices of third parties . And we do not take responsibility for the content or privacy policy of those Third Party Services.
5.2. It is important to acknowledge that we do not collect data that the user is not aware of either manually or automatically. And every individual is responsible for information he/she publishes (a.s. Bio). We collect Name, Username, Email (Optional), and device token ID (for notification)
5.3 Information Related to use of the Services: We collect information about the use of users to our services. Internet protocol (IP address) any time a sender sends a voice message or register and used in aggregate form (as a statistical measure that wouldn’t identify you or your Account)
5.4 Information Related to Your Web Browser: We use web browser-related information to provide, secure, enhance and improve the Services.
5.5 LAM contains public and private information from the receiver perspective. The private information is the messages being received and the identity of the sender. Public information is Name, Username, Bio and what the receiver publishes from the messages among social media platforms. In addition, public information may be indexed by any search engines (like Google), therefore we are not responsible for the indexing processing and archiving even after removing or deleting any information related to user.
5.6 Any individual responsible for the information he/she publishes across social media. and our role in protecting our community from breaking moral and legal rules. We are entitled of accessing, preserve, and disclose any information only when it’s necessary and with presents of thees possible reasons:
(i) in case of breaking any law, regulation. Or by governmental request.
(ii) Regulate any of our terms and conditions.
(iii) Any act of hacking or attending to breaking security and safety or any related technical issues.
5.7 If you want to delete your Account you can contact us by emailing us and providing proof of authority over the Account. What constitutes "proof of authority" will vary depending on the circumstances and to make sure that you are the account owner. The process will take 14 days to be affected and all data related to your account will be deleted
Property Rights:
6.1. All trademarks used in the application whether they are designs or words are the property of Fork Lab Company, no user can use these marks before being declared to him. There is no provision in the website authorizing the transfer of intellectual property rights.
Website and Application Security Breaches:
7.1. The user/visitor agrees that the security violation of the website or application is strictly prohibited, violation of the security of the website or application exposes you to criminal liability according to Kuwaiti law. Examples of violations:
Prohibited use of the website or application.
Illegal use of our data by unauthorized access.
Breakthrough Security Proper precautions and binary authentication of the website or application.
Monitor website or application data.
User Account Safety:
8.1. Under these terms, you agree that you are responsible for your personal data protection of your account in the application. You agree to take responsibility in front of the company for all activities that occur when you use the application/service.
8.2. Use of the Internet communication methods (i.e. Cafes Wi-Fi, Malls, or any public places) while using the application is applied to user responsibility and any damage caused to the user because of its use of the public Internet is not the responsibility of Fork Lab company.
8.3. User is responsible for the device which the application is browsing through, there is no liability to Fork Lab company when any damage to the user because of hacking user’s device or having viruses, spyware, or Jailbrake on user’s device.
8.4. To access our Services, you must be over the age of maturity in your country. Therefore, LAM is a public service with open access once the user publishes his/her profile link across social media platforms. So it is impossible to identify the intention of anyone with a hand on the profile link and the content of the message. So the account owner must be over 17 years of age in order to take full responsibility of the content he/she publishes or receives. Non-registered users are able to access only the parts of the Services that are publicly available and do not enjoy all of the privileges of being a registered member. They are, however, subject to the terms of use.
8.5. When it comes to uploading anything on our Service, in some cases it can be seen or accessed by everyone who uses our Services (including non-registered users). You are responsible for everything you post on the Services. Also if you share your messages and make the message public, you are responsible for the content. In every case, you are subject to the following rules.
If you are using our Services, you are not allowed to post anything which:
causing any harm or damage to anyone
Identity theft.
Any act of causing moral harm like harass or sacre. and encourage illegal activities. Underestimate anyone based on sexuality, disability, gender, age, race or religion
is illegal, could expose LAM to legal liability, or encourages people to get involved in anything which is illegal (ie. violence, or crime)
collects user content or information, or otherwise accesses the Services using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers) without our prior permission
shares, recompiles, decompiles, disassembles, reverse engineers, from using our service at all.
8.6. We reserve the right, at any time and without prior notice, to remove or disable access to any content for any reason or without any reason.
8.7. LAM reserves the right to investigate and/ or terminate your account without a refund of any purchases if you have violated these Terms of Use, Taking in consideration all your acts or communications that occur on or off the Service.
8.8. LAM contains links to third party sites. Third-Party content is not under our control and we are not responsible for the content (like: Website, product, service). And any use of Third-Party service would be at your own risk. Also this service might contain advertisements and it’s subject to change at any time.
Personal Data:
9.1. The user acknowledges that all of the data submitted to Fork Lab company is correct and complete, when he changes it, he/she must notify Fork Lab company immediately, if there is false/fake information, Fork Lab will stop all services provided to the user or delete his/her account.
9.2. Fork Lab company is committed to keeping the user's personal data safe in the backend side.
9.3. Fork Lab company is always trying to keep the data confidential and protect it from theft and provide all the systems/methods that guarantee the maximum level of protection.
9.4 We will never use/access your messages and we don’t have any rights to do that just in case you violate our terms and conditions.
Quality of Service:
10.1. Fork Lab company is eager to provide useful services to the user, the user can provide suggestions to improve the quality, the suggestions will be discussed through the developer team of LAM.
10.2. Fork Lab company is eager to provide a system that operates 24 hours, in the case of a malfunction in the system (not in the version of the application), the company will work to solve it as soon as possible.
Application Security and Safety:
11.1. We are working hard to secure all data by encrypting the data using encryption methods such as HTTPS that encrypt the connection between the user and server side.
11.2. User must not use any other person’s device to login to his/her personal account in LAM.
General rules:
12.1. The user is responsible of the information’s such as username, email or password entered at the register/settings and the user cannot rest password if the email not provided to LAM.
12.2. All information related to the user are stored safely in our servers with our 3rd party providers for our service and we will not share data with any other parties.
12.3 username cannot be changed and you have to register again with new username if you wish.
12.4 If you purchased one of our paid plans, this purchase will be linked with your account in LAM and you cannot transfer your purchase to another account.
12.5 All voice messages stored in our servers with our 3rd party providers and you have the right to ask for deletion of all data related to your account by contacting us ONLY if you have a valid email address linked to your account.
12.6 You are responsible to keep your account/messages safe and sharing the voice messages can be done only by YOU using our app.
12.7 The main features of the LAM service idea is Free 100% and there are many optional features included in paid plans.
12.8 Paid plans paid once for individuals or business accounts.
12.9 If you own a business you can use a Free plan if you wish but if you would like to upgrade your plan you have to choose Business Plan otherwise your account will be suspended.
12.10 Using LAM in illegal activities that harm any person/sect/company will let the LAM team suspend your account directly without any warnings and it will give the rights to LAM teams to investigate and access your messages.
12.11 We have the right to delete old messages from your account if you are using our “ Free Plan “ without your permission since large data is consumed from our resources.
12.12 LAM is not responsible for any voice message you received in your account and you have the responsibility to share your profile with your friends/social media.
12.13 If you share a link of your message somewhere you give the public to listen/access to that message at your own risk and you have to remove it from that source by yourself or delete it in our app.
12.14 No refunds for our paid plans.
12.15 If your account is suspended for any reason you don’t have the right to get a refund of your paid plan.
12.16 Once you purchase one of our paid plans you are qualified for any new features related to your plan.
12.17 We have the right to stop our service at any time for any reason, especially for technical issues.
13. Refunds procedure (if applicable)
Generally, all charges for purchases are non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. For subscribers residing in the EU or European Economic Area, in accordance with local law, you are entitled to a full refund without stating the reason during the 14 days after the subscription begins. Please note that this 14-day period commences when the purchase date starts.
To request a refund
If you purchased using your Apple ID, refunds are handled by Apple, not LAM. To request a refund, go to iTunes, click on your Apple ID, select “Purchase history,” find the transaction and hit “Report Problem”.

Forklab disclaims all responsibility for any wrong use of the application/service that harms any person / sect / company or any specific entity, and therefore, Forklab does not bear any damage resulting from any wrong behavior while using the application/service.
